About Membership In LLPHC
First and foremost, a member should have an interest in Jimmy Buffett's music (duh!). Anyone wanting to join LLPHC must exhibit an interest in community service and environmental concerns. The person must exhibit a commitment towards the success of achieving the goals of the organization, including attending club meetings and assisting in club-sponsored community service projects. Since the LLPHC club year runs from May 1 thru April 30, members must pay club dues, as set by the LLPHC board of directors, by May 1.
Because many of our activities sometimes involve difficult or potentially hazardous situations (ie, placing dogs in flea dip baths, picking up trash along the highway), the board has set minimum age restrictions for full membership.
